The ingestive behavior of beef heifers when submitted to different energy supplementation levels was evaluated. Heifers grazing Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) and black oat (Avena strigosa Schreb) pasture, were supplemented with wheat bran, supplied daily at 2 p.m. at levels of 0; 0.5; 1.0; 1.5% of live weight.
