The Revista Brasileira de Zootecnia (RBZ) is a publication dedicated to the broad field of Animal Science. We publish high-quality, original scientific research that spans across diverse areas within the discipline. The scope of RBZ encompasses a wide range of topics, including aquaculture, biometeorology and animal welfare, forage crops and grasslands, animal and forage plants breeding and genetics, animal reproduction, ruminant and non-ruminant nutrition, meat science and muscle biology, precision livestock, and animal production systems and agribusiness.

A digestibility trial was conducted to evaluate the effects of the supplementation of the ration with a enzyme complex containing cellulase, protease and amylase on the digestibility of nutrients in Nile tilapia juveniles (Oreochromis niloticus). The experimental diets were isoprotein (30% CP), isoenergy (4,243 kcal/kg of GE) and supplemented with a commercial enzyme complex containing cellulose, protease and amylase at the levels of 0.0, 0.025, 0.050, 0.075, and 0.1%. The apparent digestibility was determinated by the indirect method using chrome […]
